When you make purchases with your TCSB debit card, the program will:
•Round up your purchases to the nearest dollar amount
•Transfer the difference from your checking to designated account
•Allow you to track your savings with online banking

Save the Change makes everyday purchases part of your savings plan. It's as easy as 1,2,3.
1. ENROLL
First, enroll the TCSB debit card you use for daily purchases.
Pro-tip, use this card for online and recurring payments to collect the most change.
2. SHOP
Next, use your card for everyday purchases such as at grocery stores, the drive-thru or for an impulsive, must-have online buy. In other words, spend like you normally would.
3. SAVE
Finally, your purchase will be rounded up to the nearest dollar and the change transferred from your checking account to your savings account*.

What do I need to enroll in the Save the Change savings program?
To enroll in the Save the Change savings program, you will need a TCSB checking account and TCSB savings account*, as well as a TCSB debit card. If you already have all three, you can enroll now and start saving today.
How often are my round-ups transferred to my savings account*?
The round-ups from your debit card purchases are accumulated and transferred daily from your checking account to your savings account*. The total transfer will be displayed daily as a single transaction on your savings statement*. However, if you do not have sufficient available funds in your checking account or if any transaction has overdrawn your checking account on a business day, we do not round up purchases posted on that business day and we cancel the Save the Change transfer for that day.
