Aaron is a 2012 graduate from Spiro High School. After his graduation, he went to Eastern Oklahoma State College where he received an associate degree in Animal Science and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Agri-Business in 2016.
Since his graduation from Oklahoma State, Aaron has worked as a loan and security officer in the banking industry. Throughout his career, Aaron managed consumer, commercial, agricultural, and residential loans and conducted appraisals and cattle inspections. Aaron has attended a variety of banking schools through the Oklahoma Bankers Association and looks forward to continuing his professional education at TCSB.
Having grown up in Spiro, Aaron understands the needs of the community and looks forward to strengthening his relationships with community members, while also building new relationships with customers.
Aaron and his wife, Shannen, share a passion for agriculture and together they raise beef cattle. Aaron is a 2020 graduate of Oklahoma State University’s Master Cattleman program, and currently serves on the LeFlore County Conservation District board of directors.
The couple attend Cross Community Church in Poteau and are actively involved in the Poteau and Spiro communities. Aaron enjoys fishing, camping, playing basketball, and tending to his cattle.
